Rum Butter Tarts
Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas at our house without these family favorites. This is my father in laws recipe that he has been making for years and everyone insists he continue to make them. They have currants that have been soaked in rum and a caramel filling that you bake in a little tart crust. They freeze well so they are a good dessert to bake ahead of the Christmas baking rush.
