Quick Korean Beef
Ingredients
- Quick Korean Beef
- Serves 4-5
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes, or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced garnish
- Cooked rice, for serving
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced garnish
- toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Drain excess fat. Stir in soy sauce mixture and cook for a few minutes.
Serve immediately over a bowl of rice and sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over top.
