Chipolte Butter, Parmesan, Herb and Garlic Butter and Roasted Red Pepper Butter
Making flavored butters adds a little interest to a simple meal and they are easy to make and can be made ahead of time and refrigerated or frozen. I like to make name tags for the butters so your guests know what they are. These recipes can easily be doubled for a larger party.
Chipolte Butter
Take 1 stick of softened butter and mix in 1 tablespoon(or more to taste) of finely chopped chipolte in adobo sauce and mix well.
Parmesan, Herb and Garlic Butter
Take 1 stick of softened butter and mix in 3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese, 1 minced garlic cloves or 2 teaspoons garlic powder, and 1 tablespoons fresh minced herbs – thyme, basil, oregano and mix well.
Roasted Red Pepper Butter
Take 1 stick of softened butter and mix in 3 tablespoons of pureed roasted red pepper that has been drained and mix well.
